Dooleys-HiFi Our Story

Established in circa 1952
Dooleys HiFi is an independent dealership, established over 70 years ago by the late Philip Dooley, an electronics and television engineer. This small family run business, is managed by Philip’s son David. Over the years David has expanded the business to offer customers a range of services and a selection of equipment from top brands of audio and visual manufacturers. Dooleys-HiFi are able to give customers advice on 2 channel audio, home cinema and multi-room systems, from design through to installation. Dooleys-HiFi sell a wide range of audio equipment from Compact Disc players, amplifiers, tuners, A/V Receivers, loudspeakers, Network streamers, headphones, Panasonic and Mitchell & Brown television sets etc. They also have their own workshop and are able to service a wide range of audio and visual equipment. As a company Dooleys-HiFi strongly believe in offering customers the opportunity to listen to the equipment of their choice in the comfort of their own home wherever possible - Dooleys-HiFi do not have a demonstration room in-store, however, they can also offer an initial demonstration in store and can also offer customers traveling from far afield an opportunity to listen away from the shop environment in more relaxing surroundings — by appointment only.the scenes. Delivery & Returns

Dooleys-HiFi Delivery and Returns Policy
Delivery We regret that we cannot accept orders for and make deliveries to addresses outside of mainland Britain. For delivery addresses within the mainland, we will endeavour to deliver the goods within a reasonable time. In addition to all other rights to cancel your order, should delivery be delayed by us for more than 7 working days from the advised delivery date you have the right to contact us and cancel the order (a working day is Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays). In this case we will happily refund you any money paid for the goods. We reserve the right to charge for redelivery if you are not present at the agreed original delivery date. Please check the condition of all products delivered as soon as they are received. This does not affect your statutory rights, but if there is a problem we want to deal with it as soon as possible as the last thing we want is a disappointed customer. As soon as we have delivered the goods to you, you will be responsible for them and any damage occasioned while in your possession. When we deliver the goods we will require you to sign for them. If you are not able to sign for a delivery, we will do our utmost to let you know when we intend to redeliver the goods. Our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end at the time the carrier tried to deliver the goods to you. Title in the goods will pass on delivery. Should you return the goods pursuant to conditions set out under these terms and conditions, then title in the goods shall revert to us when you return the goods to us. Delivery methods: Local Free delivery within 30 mile radius. Free Pick-up from the store in Macclesfield or Shipped by UPS Returns If you wish to return goods, you should notify Dooleys-HiFi of your intention to do so within 14 days of the date of receipt by you. You then have an additional 14 days to return the goods from this notification date (goods should be returned within 28 days). We will in such circumstances refund you the cost of your order, including postage, and also the cost of return postage assessed as the most efficient method of sending. However, if goods are not returned "as new" due to excessive handling on your part, or have components missing (including packing materials and manuals), we may make a reasonable deduction for this. If any purchase, which is part of a package and includes another product for free, is refunded for any reason or exchanged, the free of charge product, which will be shown on your receipt, must be returned at the time of the exchange or the refund. No refunds can be accepted without all products being returned.
